Why Seedance
These are the controls and limits connected to the current product configuration—not borrowed promises from another provider or model release.
Use text-to-video for an open scene, or upload a still image to establish the subject and first visual direction.
Describe what moves, how the camera behaves, the pacing, and what should remain stable through the clip.
Choose portrait, landscape, square, classic, or ultrawide framing with 480p, 720p, or 1080p output.
Select 4, 8, or 12 seconds, keep the lens fixed when needed, and enable audio for workflows that call for it.
How it works
The landing page handles the starting context. Create exposes the full model controls before anything is submitted.
Write the scene from scratch or upload a clear image that gives the motion a visual anchor.
Call out subject movement, camera direction, speed, lighting changes, and the intended mood.
Open Create to set duration, resolution, aspect ratio, lens behavior, and optional audio before generating.
Best uses
Choose the model around the deliverable, not the novelty of the name. These are the tasks that fit its current inputs and controls.
Turn a clean product still into a short reveal, rotation, or atmosphere-led campaign shot.
Create vertical or square clips for feeds, Reels, Shorts, and other short-form placements.
Test camera movement, scene rhythm, and a key moment before a longer production.
Animate a character or environment with a prompt that focuses on action and cinematography.
Compare models
Use the lighter image model for speed, Pro for resolution and references, and Seedance when the final deliverable needs motion.
